This was one of my more challenging oil paintings for many reasons. First of all, I used an old ceiling tile which is very rough in texture and sucks up painting like crazy. Secondly, its 24 x 48 and I�m a little intimidated with large paintings. It was fun, had no idea what I was going to paint and did it out in the garage. Incidentally, that is most likely where this one will be hanging! Definitely folky, funky and fun.
My passion is painting impressionist /abstract original oil paintings. Nature is my biggest inspiration!
