I love the mountains and wanted to do some oils with a pallet knife. This is what happens in the winter, we see BLUE and lots of blue. Its beautiful and the mountians are ever changing. This is what I see when I look out at the horizon in the winter time here in Montana.
My friend, Larry Hoffman, wrote a poem to go with this:
The canvas takes life with frosty hues
Of winter's white and icy blues
The mountains, sky, and skirting plain
Beg remembrance by the artist's brain
Yet her hand is guided not by mind
But feelings her soul can't leave behind.
